Blankets 4 Kids has been requested by some of the people up in the White Mountains to see if we could help the kid’s that have been affected by the Wallow Fire. We are in the process of putting together a blanket order and want to include equal amount of Teddy Bears for each child receiving a blanket. All our donation boxes have labels on them indicating this special event. Please keep the boxes full and we’ll do the rest!!

Blankets 4 Kids has just been notified that the Phoenix Suns has selected us to receive a financial grant at the US Airways Center on August 16th. We feel very privilege to be in the company of this foundation and we will continue to look for other charities that promote the mission of providing for the health and welfare of children.

Blankets 4 Kids will hold it’s annual “Blanket-Thon” at 3 locations during the months of Oct & Nov 2011.
Oct 15-St Catherines Catholic Church, 2062 Hwy 89, Chino Valley-9:00-1:00pm
Oct 22-St Germaines Catholic Church, 7997 E. Dana Drive, Prescott Valley-9:00-1:00pm
Nov 4-Catholic Charities, 434 W. Gurley St, Prescott- 9:00-1:00pm
We have a very good inventory of both new and used blankets, hats & scarves to give away FREE, so come early to one of these events and receive your comfort item.

Blankets 4 Kids has a new donation box location in Chino Valley, AZ at the “Country West 55+ Community & RV Park”, 853 North Hwy 89. The box is located at the Managers Office. Please help the kids in your community out by stuffing the box with your “Blankets, Hats & Scarves”. We have a volunteer who lives in this community and she will keep the box serviced.
